The CSO Panel objectives are as follow :

• Promote and increase active involvement of CSOs on the implementation of the Convention and the negotiations undertaken at the COP,
• Encourage local, national and regional CSOs to seek their accreditation,
• Increase communication and knowledge exchange among CSOs,
• Raise awareness of UNCCD activities
